    About the Role 

    Following the successful merger, we are recruiting to grow our Residential Property team in London. Working closely with a Senior Associate, you will manage the conveyancing process for a wide variety of Residential conveyancing work. 

    Responsibilities of the Role

    • Manage a caseload of Residential Property files, under supervision, dealing effectively with cases and transactions including Freehold and Leasehold sales and purchases, leasehold extensions, Re-financing and re-mortgaging, Affordable housing and transfers of equity.

    • Manage time recording, WIP monitoring and billing consistently, meeting targets and objectives set

    • Deal directly with client to take instructions and ensures full understanding in order to deliver on client expectations

    • Raise personal profile and attracts delegated work; take responsibility for aspects of BD projects within the department

    • Continue to develop and learn in chosen areas of expertise, maintaining an up-to-date understanding of relevant law, policy and practice.

    • Encourages juniors/ trainees and gives feedback to assist their learning, effectively delegating tasks where appropriate

    • Understands, learns and applies all business processes applicable to own work learning new processes as required


    About You 

    • Qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 2 years PQE. Applications will be considered from qualified Legal Executives

    • Strong experience of dealing with Residential Conveyancing work. Experience of dealing with HNW clients is highly desirable.

    • Positive Attitude to Work- Approaches work with positivity and energy and thrives in a busy environment.

    • Effective Communicator- Clearly conveys information and ideas through the relevant media. Speaks in Plain English.

    • Self Aware- Recognises personal strengths and weaknesses and uses that knowledge to interact positively with others. Maintains a professional impression.

    • Team Player- Actively participates as a member of a team. Develops and maintains relationships with others.

    • Resilient- Functions effectively under pressure and handles difficult circumstances in a manner that is acceptable to others and Royds Withy King.

    • Open to Change- Receptive to new ways of working with the ability to be flexible in approaching tasks and problems.
